Reviews and Ratings
The hotel had excellent rooms that contained everything we needed, were very quiet and comfortable, and had direct access to the garden for our dogs. The service was extremely helpful and pleasant, with a very pleasant overall ambiance. The location was great for evening walks and beautiful photographs. The dining was overall tasty, but there could have been more quantity. The facilities were wonderful and added to the stay's comfort.
The hotel is set in a peaceful countryside location, surrounded by fields and trees, making it a quiet retreat close to popular Somerset destinations. The rooms overlook a pleasantly arranged garden but may lack privacy due to their close proximity. The service is top-notch, with staff going above and beyond to accommodate dietary needs. The dining experience offers delicious options but can be a bit slow. The hotel boasts a lovely garden and patio area for relaxing during the summer months.
The hotel offers a mix of positives and negatives. The overlooked terrace was a nice touch, creating a light, airy, and large room with beautifully presented tableware. However, the room felt a little dated, and it would have been perfect if the bathroom was fresher.
